Directions to our concerts
HOW TO GET TO ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, WESTPORT From Amicable Church: Go south about 4/10th's of a mile to the traffic light; turn left here onto East Road. Go about 2 miles on East Road to a T intersection with Stone Church Road, marked by a sign with two arrows on it. This is just past South Lake Road. Drive down Stone Church Road to a T intersection with Adamsville Road. Turn left here and drive through Adamsville, over the bridge by the pond, and past the big white buildings on the left. Keep going straight ahead (ignoring Cornell Road) to a T intersection with Main Road in Westport. Turn right here and look on the right for the Beech Grove cemetery; St. John's church is immediately opposite. They have a large parking lot. From Little Compton, Sakonnet, Westport Harbor (= Acoaxet), etc.: Go to Long Highway and take it north to Colebrook Road. Right on Colebrook Road to the intersection with Adamsville Road. Right on Adamsville Road, past the bridge and pond and straight ahead to a T intersection with Main Road in Westport. Follow above directions from that point. From Bristol, Warren, and surrounding territory: Go to Amicable Church and follow directions from there. From Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth: Go north to the Sakonnet River Bridge. Cross the Sakonnet River and drive south on West Main Road to Amicable Church. Follow directions from there. From Fall River: Go east on Route I195 to Route 88. Take Route 88 to the Hixbridge Road exit at a traffic light. Turn right here and right again on Main Road by the Beech Grove cemetery. (Ignore Drift Road). The church is immediately opposite the cemetery. From New Bedford and points east: Take Route 88 south to the Hixbridge Road exit. Follow directions as from Fall River. If you come down Horseneck Road and west on East Beach Road to the Fonteyn Bridge, go north to Hixbridge Road and follow directions as from Fall River.
HOW TO GET TO ST. THERESA'S CHURCH FROM ALMOST ANYWHERE From Amicable Church: Drive north on West Main Road (the road Amicable is on) to Bulgarmarsh Road. Turn right here and drive east to Route 81 at a traffic light. Turn left here and go north about 2 1/10 of a mile to a church on the left; it's the only church you're likely to encounter. Turn left here onto Eagleville Road and then turn immediately into the parking lot. From Portsmouth, Middletown, Newport, etc. Go north to the Sakonnet River Bridge. Cross the bridge and take the first exit onto West Main Road. Go south to a T intersection with Bulgarmarsh Road. Turn left here and keep going east to a traffic light at Route 81 (Crandall and/or Stafford Roads). Turn left and drive north about 2 1/10 of a mile to the church. Left on Eagleville Road and immediately into the parking lot. From Bristol, Warren, etc.: Go south across the Mount Hope Bridge and east to the Sakonnet River Bridge. Proceed as from Portsmouth. From Providence: Get onto Route 195 and drive east toward Fall River. Now you can enter Fall River and take the Plymouth Street exit and drive south on Plymouth Street, which becomes Stafford Street (see above). Stay on Stafford until you see St. Theresa's church on your right. Drive just past the church and turn right onto Eagleville Road and then right again into the parking lots. This is a slow route; allow extra time. From Fall River: Get onto Plymouth Street and proceed as from Providence. Again, this is slow. Allow plenty of time. From Little Compton, Sakonnet, etc.: Drive north and east to Long Highway to Colebrook Road. Take Colebrook Road into Adamsville and turn right at the bottom of the hill. Go through the village (slowly; the police are in waiting) and turn left onto Route 81. Take this road north across Route 177 and about 2 1/10th miles further north. The church will be on your left. Proceed as from Amicable. From Tiverton: Follow directions from Amicable. From Dartmouth, Westport, New Bedford, etc.: Take Route 88 north to the Route 177 exit. Turn left onto Route 177 and go to the intersection with Route 81 (at a traffic light). Proceed as from Amicable.
